The alternative to the traditional silver mercury fillings. It's made of a mixture of quartz filler in resin. It functions the same as the traditional silver fillings. It prevents your cavity from further exposure and decay.

Composite resin bonding are not as strong as other types of restorations, like porcelain veneers. They typically last 4-7 years before they begin to chip and wear away. The bonding will have to be replaced at that point.
