What's a porcelain crown?

It protect and keep badly decayed or fractured teeth while maintaining a beautiful smile. A crown (often called a cap) covers the tooth and restores it to its original shape and size. It prevents the tooth from further damage. A porcelain crown functions as well as or better than a natural tooth and is virtually indistinguishable from the surrounding teeth. If the damage to the tooth is extensive, our doctor may advise removing the tooth and placing a dental bridge or implant.
