What's a porcelain crown?
A porcelain crown is a dental fixture placed on the top of a tooth that has decayed or has been cracked or otherwise damaged. Using special cement to bond the crown to the top of the tooth, Dr. Nien can create a new chewing surface, and protect the existing tooth from further damage. A porcelain crown functions as well as or better than a natural tooth and is virtually indistinguishable from the surrounding teeth. If the damage to the tooth is extensive, our doctor may advise removing the tooth and placing a dental bridge or implant.
What makes our crowns stand out?
Because we guarantee it for 5 years, we use the best material out there. We spend more time than average on making sure that your bites feel as natural as your original teeth. And we take the time to glaze it in-house to make sure the color matches with your natual teeth. This is how our crowns stand out.
