We are a family dental practice.

We focus on one patient at a time, no double booking.

How to avoid cavities and the cost of doing a filling?

The average cost of a cavity filling is around $250 and if you have insurance, you co-pay from 20-50% of the cost. The co-pay varies based on your insurance policy. But there are 3 things you can do that can really prevent cavities. You can see what works for our patients.

We take care of adults and kids.

We're very gental and patient with kids and adults. We're extremely detail oriented, starting from how thoroughly we sterlize instruments to using the best materials for cavity fillings and crowns. We always guarantee our work, e.g. we gurantee our crown for 5 years. We will present all the treatment options, so you can choose the one you're comfortable with.

We accept all PPO insurance plans.

We accept Delta Dental, Metlife, Guardian and others. We'll explain all your insurance benefits to you in a clear way. And we take care of all your claims, so you can just deal with your dental treatment. And you don't need insurance to see us, if you don't have one. Also, always feel free to ask what the treatment fees are, it's not suppose to be a mystery. We're totally open about it.

What our patients say about us.

I've made treatment for my daughter. And our dentist is very calm, nice, passion. She be done her work very good. We will continue to work with her and I highly recommend her! From Alyona at Yelp

I have been going to Sweet Tooth Dental for about 8 years. Always professional, but super friendly. They remember you, your family and what is happening in your life. I have received follow up calls to see how I am feeling after a procedure. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new dentist office. From Cristina at Yelp

Quick intro on our San Jose Dental office

We've been taking care of patients in our San Jose office for 8 years now. We moved into a medical office building about 4 years ago with a very modern, clean and friendly office for both adults and kids. It's pretty close to Oakridge mall, see more details here.

We use Solea Laser, so our patients can avoid drills and needles in their treatments.

About 90% of the patients can use laser in their treatments like cavity filling. This means when we do a filling, we don't need to give patients a shot to numb the tooth. And we don't use a drill to cut out the cavity area. This laser will cut out the cavity area. It's pretty great to see both kids and adults not having to go through the anxiety of getting a shot. More info on how this works here.

 Exam + Digital X-Ray

Dentist will examine the health of your teeth and mouth. Our digital X-Ray has 90% less radiation than regular X-Ray.

 Teeth Cleaning

This helps prevent cavities and gum disease. It should be done twice a year and is usually 100% covered by insurance.

A clear resin layer that bonds to the tooth. It will protect cavities from forming. It will prevent small decays growing larger.

 Cavity Filling

A filling is a way to restore a tooth damaged by decay back to its normal function and shape. We first remove the decay, clean the affected area, and then fill the cleaned out the cavity. We will match the filling color to your natural tooth.

 Teeth Whitening

We use ZOOM! laser whitening to achieve a whiter and brighter smile. In only 45 minutes your teeth will be significantly whiter, as much as 6 to 8 shades.

 Dental Crowns

A dental crown is a tooth-shaped "cap" that is placed over a tooth -- to cover the tooth to restore its shape and size, strength, and improve its appearance. It's there to protect weak or cracked tooth.
